Statutory withdrawal for consumers

Where EU/German distance-contract rules apply, you have the right to withdraw from the service contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. A seven-day free trial does not replace or shorten this statutory period. Clear disclosure of a trial’s conversion to a paid subscription is required at the time of contracting.

It is sufficient to send your statement before the withdrawal period expires. The model below is optional. The operator has not supplied an electronic contact; this missing disclosure must be remedied before commercial launch.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, payments received under the withdrawn contract must be reimbursed without undue delay and, where the applicable rules require, no later than 14 days after receipt of your withdrawal notice. Reimbursement uses the same payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and no reimbursement fee is charged.

If you expressly requested service performance during the withdrawal period and all legal information and formal requirements were satisfied, a proportionate charge may be payable for services actually supplied up to the withdrawal notice, as permitted by law. No charge is due for a period genuinely offered free of charge merely because you used it. Starting a recording, signing in or starting a trial does not by itself waive withdrawal rights. For services, early expiry requires full performance and the applicable express consent/acknowledgement requirements; beginning an ongoing subscription is not full performance.

Cancellation is separate

Canceling renewal through the signed-in Abo page/Stripe portal is not the same as statutory withdrawal. Free-plan users have no paid renewal to cancel. Mandatory consumer remedies are not restricted by this notice.

Outstanding requirement: The electronic withdrawal function required for relevant online consumer contracts from June 19, 2026, and the applicable German cancellation-button procedure must be implemented and tested. This information page and postal form alone do not satisfy those technical requirements. Commercial readiness has not been certified.
