Cookies and local storage

Browser storage used by SayCover
SayCover uses browser storage for account sessions and locally saved workspace data. Authentication tokens identify a signed-in session; keep your device secure. Lecture transcripts, notes, materials, learning content and conversation histories are saved locally in your browser. Preferences and recording usage information are also stored locally. Application storage keys include the aperture. and saycover. prefixes; the hosted sign-in client maintains its own authentication storage.
Local workspace data is specific to the browser and domain. It is not synchronized simply by signing in on a different device. Use exports before removing it. Browser storage may persist until cleared; a session also depends on the provider’s validity and logout behavior. No fixed expiry is promised for locally saved lectures.
Cookies and third parties
Authentication, security, hosting and checkout providers may use cookies or similar mechanisms necessary for the requested service. Stripe checkout and its customer portal operate on their own pages under Stripe’s privacy policy. Optional Google sign-in involves Google and the Lovable sign-in service.
The website currently loads Google Fonts from Google and brand assets from a content-delivery service. These network requests can expose IP addresses and request metadata even without cookies. See Google’s privacy policy. Font and asset requests are not a marketing-consent choice. The operator must review the legal basis for these resources, or serve them locally/implement prior consent where required.
Optional tracking and consent
There is currently no user-facing optional tracking preference tool. This page does not claim that every hosted service is tracking-free. Before activating non-essential analytics, advertising or similar storage/access, the operator must inventory the technologies and provide prior consent with a real reject and withdrawal choice where required. Accepting terms or continuing to browse is not that consent. No optional tracking permission is obtained by this notice.
Removing data
You can remove this site’s storage through your browser settings. SayCover’s Settings page includes a local-data deletion action. Export important lectures first: removal can be irreversible. Removing local data does not delete hosted recording audio/jobs, close the account, delete third-party copies or cancel payments. Logging out is not a request to erase every copy of your personal data.
For hosted-data requests, see the Privacy Policy and the operator details in the Legal Notice. A complete provider cookie inventory, retention schedule and any necessary consent controls still require operational review.
